seeing your body through different lenses

Literally.
I had this weird thing happen yesterday. I put in my contacts to go to gymnastics. (I only wear contacts for gymnastics and soccer - and I take them out as soon as I am done). I looked in my full length mirror and looked quite a bit heavier than I do with my glasses.
The interesting this is that I suspect it is a "truer" version of myself since it is closer to what I look like in pictures. When I put on weight last year, I kept looking in the mirror (with my glasses on) and thinking I looked fine. Guess I should have been wearing my contacts!

Kind of weird.

    LOL that's why I HATE my pix taken it shows the real me.....

    Hmmm!! I'm going to have try that.

    I do feel like I sometimes still think I am way fatter than I am and now I don't know what I really look like. I feel comfortable now and I don't know if that is good or not.
