Sorry for being a day late to all the gorgeous brides to be out there!!
I'm stuck with no power till possibly thrusday from the NorEastern we just had. Ended up with 2feet of snow here in massachusetts. So only place i got the internet is at work on my 1hr lunch break!

So how did everyones Halloween go? Did you stay on track or have a little candy? Dress up at anything fancy..?

I didn't do anything on halloween but i went to a halloween party for a friend and then a bar on friday! Dressed up as someone from the 80's! it was fun! Only had a few peices of candy! (i've cut down a lot and don't really care to grab a peice anymore)


Have you noticed any weight loss??

I'm able to fit into pants i bought at the end of Sept that i couldnt button and now they are a little to big but comfy and look good enough to wear!!


My goal this week is to get my excersize in and my water (haven't really got to eat well because i can't cook) so i'm also trying to only eat half of anything (when i eat out - that's if its not good for me)


How was your previous weigh in??

I lost a 1lb and a half last week so i'm down a total of 14.5lbs in two months!!
I havent started counting inches yet. but i really should!

    I'm new to this thread but I'm also a bride to be (the date is 9/7/12) on a mission!!! I'm looking to lose a couple pounds (maybe 3 or 4) but my main goal is to tone up! I want to commit to 2-3 days a week of strength training in addition to my usual Zumba cardio classes. Ideally, I'd like to stick to 3 days cardio, 2 days strength. This is the first place I slack when I get busy with wedding planning! I want my arms to be tight and jiggle free on the big day!!!!

    I am also new to this thread. My goal is to lose 10 more pounds in the next 3 months. My workout goal is to Walk 50 minutes 3x's per week, circuit training 30 minutes 2-3x's per week and Dancing for at least 30 minutes 3-4x's per week. Also to log everything I eat as much as possible. It always helps even if I don't like what I see. My wedding date is 05-26-12. I really need to tone as well.

    I did so-so last week. I mostly succeeded in drinking at least 4 glasses of water a day, which had been one goal. Workouts got stalled, unfortunately, but I did do fairly well on keeping close to my calorie goal each day, even with some candy thrown in the mix. However, my scale says that I GAINED 4.6 pounds from last weigh-in, which just seems wrong to me. I suspect it's about, ah, THAT time, so I'm possibly retaining water or something. Because I haven't done anything to merit that. Hopefully things improve this week.

    Sometimes I gain random inexplicable weight too--I also think it's water retention. I'd up the water to 8 glasses to flush all that out (that helps me a lot). When I find it hard to drink plain water I just buy naturally flavored seltzer. It feels like soda and the bubbles help fill you up :-)
  • I gain 5 pounds during that wonderful time of the month... dont let it bother you! I am doing so-so on the dieting. I try and eat healthy choices and not to beat myself up if I got over my calorie limit on here. I do eat my exercise calories but on days I dont exercise I DEF go over the 1200 limit set on mfp. I talked with my doctor last week and made her aware of my weight loss goals for the wedding and she told me to stay under 1800 cal a day and I will be fine. So thats what I am going by! :) I weighed Monday and again this morning, and there was a 3 pound difference!! I wanted to log it so bad but I like to stay consistant with my weigh ins. So i will see what the scale says next Monday.. or maybe I will change my weigh in date to Wednesday ;)... I hope everyone is having a wonderful week!!

    I think I did ok last week... Lost about a pound, was good at keeping up with my water. I ate some candy, but got no gain from it, so that's good, right? I'll probably sneak a piece here and there, but I'm good at the moderation thing, so I should be alright... I just REALLY want to lose this last ten pounds before the end of Feb... I just have to stay positive, right???:)
