I swear my brain is on strike today.
I bought FISHER natural sliced almonds. 160 calories for 1/3 of a cup.
there is 5.333 TBSP in 1/3 cup (right?)
so 2 TBSP would be roughly 60-64 calories- am I right?
That was what I got when I did the math- but when i double checked it online they was saying 1 tbsp would be like 54 cals

With nuts you should really go with weight. I cup of assorted is around 800 calories, but again the type of nuts will effect calories. That's 266 cals for a third of a cup. 160 cals is an ounce, not sure about tbsps.0

Going by weight is best. If you have 1tbsp of almonds and say 1tbsp of chopped almonds... I bet the 1tbsp of chopped almonds would weigh more.0
