Confused about strength training and calories burned on MFP

Options
According to MFP, "Strength training (weight lifting, weight training)" at 45 minutes burned 165 calories for me. I did:

Sets; Reps; Weight per set
Leg Extension
3 sets
8 reps
85 lbs

Leg Press
3 sets
8 reps
275 lbs

Leg Curls
3 sets
9 reps
85lbs

Front Squats, Barbell
3 sets
7 reps
145 lbs

Leg Press
3 sets
8 reps
315 lbs

3 8 315
Pull Ups (pull-ups)
4 sets
6 reps
162 lbs (my full body weight on the bar)

Standing Calf Raises
3 sets
6 reps
160 lbs

At a glance, does 165 calories sound about right?

That may be a bit on the low side, depending on intensity, fitness level, strength, age, weight, gender, etc. FYI, most of the calories burned from strength training occurs for the 48 hours after a workout as the muscles repair themselves.

Sounds a little low, but maybe only by 30 calories.

That seems pretty low. I weigh 220 pounds or so. If i did those weights and reps i would have burned about 600 calories. i would think you burned at least 200-250.

    162 lbs

So you did 142 total reps taking approximately 2025 mins to complete them. i typically do a lot more reps pers exercise about 100 or so per. I would say about 250.
