Date Outfit?

So I have a date on bonfire night, yay!, but I'm stumped for what to wear.

We're going out for the full day - lunch, dinner, fireworks and drinks - so I need something versatile.

I was thinking this dress in this colour (I bought it a while ago)

    Be careful that the sweater doesn't bulk up your hips (because of the pockets). I don't know how big your hips are, but I know sweaters like that make my hips look huuuuuuge. :)

    It doesn't bulk up my hips I don't think, if it does I have a similar one but with different pockets and the same colour I could wear. Thanks!

    I have my winter jacket too for standing out watching the display and walking to and from places, and of course, cuddles :) but thanks for the concern.
