To kiss butt or not...

When someone tells you to kiss a certain customers butt at work, what would you do or say?
It really just made me laugh. I do my job the best I can and treat everyone the same. In my opinion no deserves better then the next.

    I've made it a priority to always have make sure I was taller than my boss so it was easier to kiss his *kitten*.

    It does involve tips but not expected. No it's not the boss or owner.

    I am also a boss at another place. I would not expect anyone to kiss up to me. I work just as hard.

    do you know if they have showered recently?

    Because that is really a huge deciding factor when it comes to kissing of the butt.

    NO WAY!!! I refuse to kiss ar$e.... and hate people that do, they have no self respect....

    i a big believer that no one person is better or worse than me. i don't care if you are the president or the queen or some super star, you are just a human, i'd never lower myself to kiss your stinkin' butt.

    Sounds like a crude way to say that important customers should be treated as such, even if difficult. And in business, some customers are more valuable,more important strategically and/or economically. Any successful business and business person recognizes this.

    Perhaps there are more appropriate places to post such a question than a diet/health/fitness site?

    i'm just a fighter. I wouldn't let an oppurtunity hold me back just because my some small person wanted to make my life difficult.
    If swallowing my pride (and secret resentment) is the price i pay to overcome a hurdle? I'd do it in a heart beat.
    I'd NEVER live my entire life like that though.
