I love all her DVDs... just remember that if you start breathing too hard, slow down, go back to walking from whatever she's doing on screen and you will get your stamina up...
Good luck!0 -
I love her DVD's, I thought I can't do anything exercise like, but when i started with her DVD's i gut my stamina built up and felt better each week. I was so proud when I made the whole 5 miles for the first time... nearly dead, but proud0

I have the 4 Really Big Miles one. I thought it would be a good idea to get something like that since it will get to cold for my outside walks.
Good luck making it through all 5 miles.0 -

A couple weeks back, I won her new walk program Eat, Walk Lose. I got it in the mail yesterday and today I did the 2 mile walk. It is awesome! I've lost 50lbs with her before and made it to doing the 3 mile, But then I started at 1 mile. This time I started again at 1 mile last week, and this week just bumped it up to 2 miles. Take breaks if you need too, or go back to walking.
For motivation, this DVD has all walkers that have lost at least 100lbs that is walking with her!! I loved it!0 -

You do walk in place at a very quick pace, but she also adds a few other steps to it along with some arm movements. It gets your heart pumping. You can adjust it to your current ability as needed. It sounds simple "walking in place", but trust me, when I buckle down to do one, I can come away a sweaty mess. :laugh:0 -

You walk in place and occasionally do double side steps and will go up two counts and down two counts.
I have the 4 big miles DVD and love it.
also if you do not want to have to move around then you can just stand there and walk in place.0 -
Hello, my name is Janet
I just started the DVD yesterday. I must say its a great workout, even though I couldn't make it thru the first mile. I usually walk outside about 30 minutes every day,and do maybe 1.5-1.75 mi. in that 30 minutes. But today I walked in the morning, and tonite, just before I had my dinner,as she suggests, I took the 12 minute mile cardio walk, and I made it thru the first mile! I burned 71 calories in 12 minutes....and worked out my whole body....I think she's got an awesome program there, and I hope to be able to eventually do the five miles......I figure ,maybe I'll add an extra mile every week....whew! Maybe! Good luck all......it works! Just be patient!

I got her DVD last weekend - walk your way thin - walk it off and tone it up. It came with a firm band to do toning also. I have done two miles so far and plan to build up to the 5 miles in the next few months. It is awesome!!! I'm loving it!0

Hi I have hr Walk Away The Pounds Express that has 2, 3, 4 and 5 miles. I usually do the 2 miles but have done the 3 before. Mine came with a stretchie band but it broke so I had one of those rubber tubings that you step on and pull up and took the ends off and use that. It just bumps up some upper body movement that's all. I really like her and I like the fact that there are people that have lost weight while doing this. I really don't like doing the ones where everyone is thin because most of them don't know what it is like to be OVERWEIGHT. That is a reason I love Richard Simmons because he has been there and has done what he needed to lose the weight (after he learned how to do it right). Keep up the good work, it will pay off in the end.0

Try doing one mile before you eat each meal......it helps a lot and you end up doing three miles a day!:yawn:0
