How many days do you exercise a week?

So, I woke up this morning getting ready to do my morning walk into work and can't do it because I've managed to hurt my foot, not sure how. Now I'm annoyed at myself because I was aiming to walk around 2 hours a day 6 days a week. I have a desk job so it's hard for me to find time to exercise so every day counts.

Am I being too hard on myself?

So question is, how many days do you exercise and for how long?

dont be too hard on yourself chick. your foot will be better in no time. i aim to work out 20-30 mins everyday not including walking. so i either do my 30 day shred dvd or go on the exercise bike for half an hour. i dont think a few days of taking it easy will do anything x

6 days a week, about 45 minutes each session.

As for you foot, well not sure how many calories you burn on a 2 hour walk(Being incline, flat...) but you won't overtrain.

    I exercise 5-6 days/week. 1-2hrs, depending on my work/school schedule.
But I ran a 1/2 marathon Sat., so this week I'm taking my workouts lighter and giving myself time to recover.

Ideally 5 days a week, 1hr a session (sometimes more if I'm lucky). That doesn't include walking places or riding my bike which I think of more as active transport.

I find it can drive you nuts to compare yourself to everyone else...we are all at different levels, at various levels of fitness etc. Find what works for you and what you will actually DO and hopefully something that you can look forward to. Learn to adapt when time, weather, injuries etc may come in to play. Keep a DVD on hand for those instances.

running/decent cardio 5 days a week where my heart rate is up to a decent cardio level (75/80% of max) I dont count the walking as a workout as my heart rate is not up though I do count it in calorie burn. If you've hurt your foot, rest for today and start again tomorro. One day off is not going to hurt.

I do anything between 20- 50 minutes 5 times per week.

Rest is important, so working out every day is not reccommended.

If you have hurt yourslef you need to rest, or you will just make the injury worse.

I generally workout 4-5 days a week. Twice a week it's for a hour, the remaining ranges from 20-45 minutes.

usually 5-6 days a week anywhere from 45-1:30 or so depending on what that day calls for.
I ran a half marathon on Saturday and I am sick this week so I am not logging as many miles or workouts.

5-6 days a week and anywhere from 45mins-1.5 hours. I just depends on what I an doing that day. I ride bikes so a ride can take longer than a walk/run.

I'm doing a P90X/TurboFire Hybrid, so it is six days per week for me. I'll do an extra cardio session on two to three days per week. I do take an active rest day once per week which usually includes a light bike ride.

5-6 days a week usually 30-90 minutes. less time if just doing cardio, more if I'm adding strength training.

    5or6 days - 30to60 mins.

I think 2 hours is a lot to ask of yourself, yes! Try some HIIT training - short, sharp, intense!

But obviously wait till your foot gets better :flowerforyou:

i wasnt exercising very much before but now i exercise everday.

On weekdays i catch a train to work so i walk to and from the station (bout 10 mins each way) sometimes i get a lift home but i try to make up for that in exercise if i do. I aim to do 40 mins a day min including my walk to the station so i do at least another 20 min work out each work day.

On weekends i try to do 40 mins or more of one work out since i dont have my train walks.
