simple question

sorry for this simple question guys, but im making poached egg,beans and homemade chips for dinner nice and simple tonight. the potatoes are ,from Tesco white potatoes. do i add them as 100 grams of Tesco white potatoes or home made chips?? as im baking them?

    If the diary comes up with home made chips, then that's what I would add.

    I'd include them as potatoes, but also add whatever oil your using to bake them in.

    I'd add them as 100 grams of Tesco white potatoes plus any other ingredients you may have added to them. You have no idea what the person who created the home made chips entry added to their recipe. They could have used cooking spray, or a teaspoon of oil or a tablespoon of oil. You could be shorting yourself available calories if you use their entry.

    Use the recipe builder to make your own recipe. If you carefully weigh/measure all the ingredients and make your own entry for "my homemade chips", then it will be there in your recipes to use again in the future.
