Shannon! 18 years old, finally trying to change my lifestyle

Hi there! The name is Shannon and I weigh 276. It's obviously not healthy and I'm not quite happy with myself, but I want to lose some weight! I don't want to be like, 100 pounds. I kind of see that as unrealistic. But I do want to lose AT LEAST 50.

I guess I'm posting here to make some friends to help me stay on top of things.

    It's a great way to change your lifestyle to be the healthiest version of you.

    there are also great challenges that you can participate in to help keep yourself motivated.

    As long as you have a realistic goal, timeline and you are motivated, I think you'll do great!

    Well i just joined also Shannon, and welcome to this wonderful program.
    The people here are fabulous and will help you reach these goals, we can be each others strength if you would like, i have alot more weight to lose but i am still trying to be focused and workout some stuff mentally before i get the physical down pat. i friend requested you in case you need to talk :)

  • Welcome, Shannon! I started at 280 pounds 80 days ago... If you stick with it, you can do it! Congratulations on making the decision to do something about it. It's a long journey, but well worth it!
