Hot tubs are dangerous?

I was at the gym the other day about to get in the hot tub, so I asked the one guy that was sitting in it if I could turn the blowers on. He said no because the chlorine oxidizes when it hits the air in bubble/steam form and then you inhale it and it causes cancer.

WHAT?!? :noway:

That seems crazy to me - although, everything causes cancer these days, so maybe it's true? Has anyone heard this?

    Ya lost me with the condoms but the rest made perfect sense. Plus it's wicked hard to stay under long enough to dine out.

    I have to keep my windows rolled up when I drive by mcdonalds...cause the smell from the place mixed with oxygen when I breathe it in makes me fat :ohwell:
