One year ago I started on this weight loss journey, I am not where I want to be I still have 13.5lbs to reach my original goal of 130lbs. I am 5'2 and when I started I was at the heaviest I have been after having my kids 164lbs. I started with p90x and lost 12lbs, I than moved to Insanity but my eating was not were it was supposed to be so I did not loose any weight. Since loosing the 12lbs with P90x I started 2011 hoping that trying something new would help me kick start my weight loss. But nothing seemed to work I was stuck in the 150s and kept going up and down from 152 to 150 almost the whole year. Than in August of this year I started doing Turbo Fire, I loved it from the moment I did the first workout. Chalene is fun, motivating and she has great music. I stopped focusing on what others were doing in terms of their calories and started focusing on what I needed to do that was going to work for me. I believe that was the key that I was missing, I was so desperate to try the things that my friends on MFP were doing since they were being successful that I forgot to focus on what my body needed. Once I started to make changes, the weight started to come off.

I need to stay focus, yes this is a great success for me but I am not done. Loosing 20lbs is a celebration for me because it was not easy getting here, I struggled and even though there was times I wanted to give up I kept going. My friends on MFP are great and they kept me motivated all of this time, Thank you to all my MFP friends.

I still have a lot of toning to do, I know I need to start working more with weights to start building muscle.
