Girls(or guys)! What's your New years eve party outfit?

Soooo, I've realized giving myself smaller goal dates helps a lot (2-3 months at a time)
and the next one coming up is New Years eve!! What keeps me really motivated is buying a dress that I'll be able to wear, and then
working hard to look good in it! I've been looking around online and decided to aim for a bandage dress :)
Found some super cute ones but I just can't make up my mind!! I have dark hair and green eyes, I really can't stand pink, so that's the only no-no,

    Hey!
    I have dark hair and green eyes too!
    I am 5ft 8 so my biggest obstacle is heels lol! I HATE being tall!
    My birthday is my mini gal ( dec 22nd ) and then christmas day and then new years eve :-D
    I am thinking red dress for my birthday, christmas something sparkly and new years....? NO IDEA lol!

    cannot stand going out on new years...everything is over priced, cabs are impossible to find here, and it's always a fiasco. I sound like some old grumpy dude! lol....

    I hate being hung over on Jan 1. I like to be "that guy" who actually feels good on Jan 1. LOL

    those dresses are sooo cute! I have dark brown hair also and green eyes.....I would say something with an earthtone color? that is what i like anyways :)

    New Year's Eve is also my wedding anniversary so a little black lace dress is what I will be wearing. I checked out the link you posted and they have some great dresses. What are your plans? That would help me give you my opinion on dresses :)

    I don't have any plans, so I think I'll just wear some yoga pants and a tee like any other Tuesday night.

    I agree, it's super pretty, And I fell in LOVE with the gold waist belt they have in accessories!
    I'm just thinking, it's new years, so is black a bit safe? I always wear black :D

    wow I totally didn't see that one the first time i went through them! it's beautiful, that dress with silver or gold heels :)

    Yeah, I was looking for something in a nude tone. I adore the nude Herves Leger adobe v neck dress, but it's so out of my price range lol
    and buying nude online can be tricky as they sometimes appear different in pictures, and when u get it home it looks more like pink :)

    I say if you're gonna go out get all sparkly. So buy one of the metallic ones for sure. OH and get yourself some CFM shoes too!

    New Year's? I haven't thought that far ahead yet. I know I do not want to do what I've traditionally done for the last 5 years. I'm bored with that. I hope to do something though. Will see. No idea what I will wear. Maybe my lil' black dress in the closet before it doesn't fit me anymore.

    As for suggestions: Nothing too gauzy looking. Go with simple, but sexy (not trampy). You are stunning as it is. You don't want the dress to take away attention from your beauty. Pick a color to accentuate your eyes. I think gold, some greens, and red are great for green eyes. You said you want nude though. I think a taupe/brown shade might be nice. Or, a subdued pink.

    I decided! I'm getting the 'Leighton' Blue & White Boatneck Batik Dress, (doesn't show off too much, and is something I can wear during summer as well!) with silver heels, silver clutch and a big chunky silver necklace and a nice tan. Now hopefully I won't change my mind again :P :D Thanks for the help guys!!
