Food/Exercise Tracking?

Just wondering how many of you are gone for the day then log at night? Do you keep a notebook of what you've eaten? and how much you exercised?

I am determined to keep logging, I think it will certainly help me. So just wondering, do you log every day, or do you go a couple of days and then enter it in to the tracking system?

any info would be helpful.

Thanks PPL!

I try to enter as I go. This is easy for me to do since I have the MFP app on my phone. If I'm at home, I log from my computer as I go. Otherwise, log at night.

I can't remember what I've eaten for the past few days so logging every two or three days or so would not work for me.

    I don't keep this in a notebook.

    Hope this helps!

DEFINITELY LOG EVERYDAY. If I get behind at all I wont be able to remember it and wont be really motivated to record it! Thats EXACTLY how I fell off the wagon for two months! You have to stick to logging it, even if you do horribly... log it every day!

I log everyday. If I'm not at home, I log from my phone.
  • MFP tracks how many days in a row you log in, and it gives me a boost to see the consistency of many days. I log in the morning for as much of the day as I know and edit in the evenings. Also have it on my phone which helps.

    I log everyday....
  • It's important to log everyday, preferably after every meal. Otherwise, things like coffee creamer, a taste of this and that, will be forgotten and you'll lose track of everything you've actually consumed in the day. Well, at least that's what happens to me when I don't log right away.
  • I log every day if i can i preplan my food and write it in so i know where my day is heading food wise....then there are no surprises.

Log every day either from my phone or from my laptop/PC at home.

If you're going to be gone all day, then writing it down would probably be best or work that mental muscle and try to remember

I log daily -- in fact I plan out my whole day either the night before or the morning of. It really helps me stay on track.

(I also use my phone to make changes if I need too! :) )
