I have done several things....I make my co-workers take the sweets to another room, out of my normal path. I bring something with me that I can have instead of what is there, so I don't feel deprived, but I am not eating a ton of sugar. I find the longer I go without the sugar the less I crave it! and I remind myself how important my goals and progress is, and i do a lot of self talk to avoid grabbing what I know I shouldn'!

Hi, not sure what Eid is but have your own snacks handy - have you tried Honey Crisp apples? They are sweet and delicious and when others are eating cookies, etc have your apple and think of how good it'll make you feel because you didn't give in! Also log in those cookies and see how many calories for just one, that may sway you from staying away, not worth it!! Good luck!!! Or, if you can have one or 2 - get a good workout in later - there are ways to get them in, just wouldn't make it a habit...

Muslims around the world celebrate two Eids a year: Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha.

    Eid Al-Fitr

The first Eid of the year is known as Eid Al-Fitr. It marks the end of the month of Ramadan, which is the month in which Muslims fast every day from sunrise to sunset. Fasting in Ramadan is.

    Eid Al-Adha

The second and final Eid celebration of the year is called Eid Al-Adha. It commemorates the completion of the Hajj pilgrimage. Although only pilgrims in Mecca participate in the Hajj fully, Muslims around the world join them in celebrating Eid Al-Adha. Hajj is one of the five.

have some grapes handy maybe ?
  • Picture the sweets covered with roaches, worms and rats. With those creatures crawling all over your favourite treats I'm guessing you'd be able to pass. You'd be amazed what the power of suggestion in your mind will do to draw your attention away so that you no longer want them. It'll almost give you a shiver to imagine as you look at them.

    Good luck.
