Looking to start doing some Core/floor work at home but as my living room is original floor boards they are a little bit on the hard side.

Anyone know of a cheap but confortable Yoga Mat or similar thats worth getting?

Had a look on Amazon and they are anything from £6 to £25.

Will see what people think :o)

I got a camping mat then I can use it for camping and working out , it also tends to be a little softer under you as well than a yoga mat which i think are a bit thinner.

Difficult combo - you can get cheap, but beware many will feel kind of slippery. I picked up a Giam brand mat, very basic, less than $20 USD and it has worked out ok, but it can be slippery and is kind of thin if you have bony parts that bruise easily in any of the supine poses. (I have thrown a towel atop it and this has helped somewhat at times) ...recently sucked it up and got a Jade Harmony mat...thicker (pricier!) but seems to play nice. I decided the lack of bruising along my spine was worth it! ^_^

Go to a store and check out what they have, if only to get a to touch some of your options...then hunt 'em online for better prices! ^_^

This. Look for a "sticky" mat. I prefer the thicker ones.
