Is 2 ounces dry or cooked? I calculated it cooked, but it sure wasn't very much. Can someone help me out on figuring the calories on pasta?

It will depend on the pasta but as a general rule 1/2cup of pasta cooked (not dry) is 100 calories.
If it says 2oz as the serving on your box of pasta, it means dry.
Small to medium pasta shapes 8 oz. uncooked = 4 cups cooked
Long pasta shapes 8 oz. uncooked or 1 1/2 inch diameter bunch = 4 cups cooked
Egg Noodles 8 oz. uncooked = 2 1/2 cups cooked
So 2oz dry should be around 1 cup of cooked pasta.
Hope this helps. :flowerforyou:0 -

2 oz. of dried pasta comes out to about 1 cup cooked. I just cooked some yesterday, and figured that out. ;o)0
