You know on your food posting - at the very bottom - it says CUPS OF WATER. A cup is 8 ounces. So do we report how many CUPS we drink (as in 8 oz)? If I drink a 16 oz bottle of water - that would be 2 cups, right?? Just wondered if anyone has asked about this before. Someone drank 11 the other day - and I'm wondering 11 of WHAT? Cups? or those 16 oz bottles. thanks.

I use actual cups. My bottle holds 24 ounces (3 cups) so each one I down I up the count by 3.
  • I have been doing it as one cup is 250ml. So a 500ml bottle of water would be 2 cups. I guess it depends on your metric system.

i use a 33 ounce water bottle (1 oz over 4 cups. 32 ozs= 4 cups) I count 4 cups every time i drink a full bottle. try to fill it up 2-3 times. i find that using crystal light on the go packets in different flavors makes it easier. i've always had a problem getting in enough water so anything that works, i use.

Yep, 8 oz = 1 cup. I try to get 10-16/day but I know I'm on the high end around here.
  • Ok, seems everyone agrees that 8 ounces = 1 cup. (Good thing, cuz I got a LOT of Pyrex glass measuring cups!). Those 16 ounce bottles of water = 2 cups. I'm good to go. thanks all.
