Hi I'm new to the community. Trying to lose weight can someone please tell me how to lower carbs.:smile:

    Hello Whitney,

    I'm really not sure about how to lower carbs. The only thing that I can think is read labels. Just started this myself so here we go, together! :)

  • I will tell you fruit juice has a ton of carbs and some fruits do also. I found out through trial and error with the fruits though. I drink coffee in the morning and stop that by noon (or else I will be up all night) and I drink water for the rest of the day after that. If I know I want ice cream or some other goody, I make a point to walk to help balance the extra calorie intake. As far as carbs, breads, juices, sodas, and crackers seem to be some of the high carb foods. Hope this helps! Good Luck!

    Oh man, and i'm wondering the opposite. I get through the day with sometime more than 100g of carbs left to eat. I'd have to eat just pasta or just bread to get my recommended amount of carbohydrates in a day.
