Left quad...oww!

This past Saturday I did a fun and insane 80's themed workout. Anyhow, I was a little bit sore on Sunday and Monday. On Monday, I was playing kickball with some kids at the afterschool program I work for and as I was running bases I felt a pain in my left quadriceps.

I think that I may have pulled a muscle on Saturday or Monday. The bad part about it is that I was planning on getting back to my P90:MS routine. Anyhow, does anyone have any tips on speeding up the healing process of a pulled muscle? (if that's what it is)

Thanks,
R

Just rest and some light stretching would be what I recommend.

You def. don't want to make it worse by working out... You can also try alternating ice/heat and see if that helps.

I have a grade 1 pulled hamstring. I'm dealing with the same thing.

    Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation.

    Advil.

Daughter said gentle stretching. I didn't think that would work, but it is helping a little bit.

Glad your feeling better. I took a knee into my right quad last night. Its killing me. Keeping Ice on it, but its stiff and hurts to walk or move.
