Not so much anymore, it just disappoints me to see the fat. Just don't have the motivation that I need, or the right foods to choose from. Maybe someone else's tips will help me without having to take expensive pills that don't work anyway, or drinking my food. Wish me luck.

When I go to the store, I always go to the fruits and vegetables first. In fact I try to avoid the whole middle part of the store where all the cereals and cookies and canned goods and commercial bread live. Just fruit, veg, fresh meat or eggs and the dairy. And maybe some nuts and beans. This has really helped! I honestly can't keep any kind of sweets in the apartment. So I don't know what you mean exactly by not having the right foods to choose from? If you can afford weight-loss shakes or pills, I assume you can afford to go grocery shopping. I promise that vegetables and fruits and eggs are a lot cheaper and healthier for you (for myself, I spend about $25 a week)! The meat, a little pricey, the dairy, it depends. But that's what I buy. Soups and salads for lunch and dinner, oatmeal, yogurt, and fruit for breakfast or snacks.
  • Actually, it was seeing a picture of me that got me motivated to lose weight. I couldn't believe I looked that way, I didn't see it in the mirror I had gradually put it on. I have a sweet tooth, It's a struggle every day to stay on track. Some days are better than others, but I usually end up under or close to my calorie intake. MFP has been an excellent source of information and motivation. Eating healthier and regular exercise, more of a change in life style, is the key. Stay away from pills and diet fads. Feel free to as me as a friend, anyone.
