After I'm done with the day. Being a mother and a wife, it's difficult for me to stop myself from going for that easy to grab snack or just eating what I've made for DH. I mean, I hate having to make two different types of meals one for myself the other for the family it takes more time and I barely get by as it is. I guess I am just venting....nothing new. :) I have gotten on the track and off the track so many times but being a new mom it's gotten harder! grrr. I wish I'd lost the weight before I got pregnant.

Any other parents out there dealing with the lack of time or energy??

Motherhood is the HARDEST job... And I haven't even got there yet...

Is there a reason you make two meals? Apart from the obvious 'diet/lifestyle change'.... Does your husband not eat what you would make for yourself? It seems like a lot of work for someone who's already probably sleep deprived, exhausted, trying hard to do the right thing by their body and trying to please a lot of people....

Try making just one meal, but your plate just has less than the others. Also have something on the sides the others eat and not you. Like if you make pasta, add garlic bread but you can only have the pasta :P and so on. For me at least, the change in food needs to happen for me and my husband so I try to make healthier meals - the same for both. The difference is he eats 2/3rds of the dinner made, being in an highly active job :)

Hubby won't say anything but i know he likes variety and delicious food homemade or at restaurants but for example i lose weight when their is routine in my food while he doesn't enjoy salad everyday. i do try to eat less though .

yes being a mom...i exclusively bf too so its up 3 timesa night for feedings. but i'm hoping eventually to get a hang of it and eat better.

sometimes i wake up at 4am to get things done i otherwise cant

exactly this! why does cooking have to be a womans job?

My Partner eats what I put on the table only more of it. Healthy Eating is good for the family even if they don't need to lose weight. I would never cook separate meals.

Oooh... And chocolate is my vice. And icecream. And cake. So I let myself have them in small amounts when I feel I desperately need them.... otherwise I'll binge until the cows come home!

Thanks ladies lol...I'm not going to force him to eat salad everyday lol but he will eat healthy food as long as there is other stuff with it that he can enjoy...besides, his job is to bring money home that I spend and my job is to make good food that he can enjoy...I'm just being lazy, I can make healthy good food just need to find the recipes. :)

Otherwise yes, cookie dough was an exaggeration all I really eat these days are coconut biscuits lol. I'm feeling better now ....that was a FTM breakdown for ya.
