:drinker: Any Canadians out there..Nova Scotians would be great ....I look through diaries to get ideas on which brands and items to buy but if I see things I might like..they don't usually sell them here.

Heya! I'm in NS too. Hopefully some of my other NS friends will also chime in. I like PC Bluemenu stuff, and Sobeys has good turkey sausages. Costco has a lot of good choices.. I find it's less about brands and more about specifc products.0

My favorite are the presidents choice line, epsecially blue menu items found at superstore (loblaws). Sobey's I believe also has a line, but find that they don't have much of a variety and are more expensive.
Something to look at may be to get an idea of a product and superstore likely as it in some form. When you get there just compare the labels. That's what I do.0 -
Thanks ..I do tend to read labels. I was just wondering if there were any good starting points. I will check out the blue menu items today when I go shopping ..I have to do a complete shop again to restart.. My problem is not eating too much ..its not eating enough...funny how I can be so over weight and so under nourished ...so my thought is to go for things I can grab and eat .. pre pkg'd meals or snacks with alot of punch for their size. If its a whole meal I have to cook I won't eat much all day I only cook a decent supper usually with my kids gone to school. I tend to max out around 700-800 cals per day unless I eat garbage foods ..but I just dont realize im hungry until I get shakes or dizzy.... so I'm trying Chia seeds in my yogurt etc ...any items like that, that you can suggest to boost what I do eat would be great .0

blue menu does have some great options for frozen micro meals, but watch for the salt.
One of the things that I used to do was buy a box of their white meat frozen chicken fingers and bake 10 at the start of the week and keep them in the fridge and throw 2 cut up on a salad for lunch.
I also have the porblem of trying to be everywhere so when I get home from groceries I will immediately cut up and prepare everything for the week and put everything in their own plastic containers (tomatoes, onion, peppers, carrots, etc.) and then i just have to spoon out a bit of each for a salad or to add to dinner or put in a pita or wrap for a sandwich and really makes it so i can't pull the whole, I don't have time thing as it's super fast to do.
When you cook the dinner meal make extra and put individual portions in the freezer so you can just grab and go with them rather than buying thw already made ones (it's cheap and has a lot less salt and various other things)0 -
Thanks for the ideas ..I will def try them ..I get really frustraited ..in fact im doing it now thats wy I came in to get motivated ...Im sittin here hungry but I look through my fridge and cupboards ..all full..and I just cant find anything to eat ...I know it sounds dumb but I weigh I'm guessing 200 pounds or close to it ..and I eat less then my 6 year old ... no appetite at all ..a coffee and a stick of gum I can go all day ... ok off to make somethng ...I need a buzzer or something to make me get up and grab food0
