What do you guys think of this? I used to follow it when I was a raw vegan...

I think it is unimportant and a waste of time in the context of weight loss.

Try it and see if it works. I think there is something to be said for right combinations. But it seems like a lot of work.:drinker:

I food combined years ago to see if it would help my IBS. It did, so I believe a lot of the science behind it all. I did lose quite a few pounds but I imagine that this was more due to the fact that you don't eat processed foods and everything is very natural. You really pay attention to how much protein or carbs you are consuming when they are separated into different meals. I say give it a go- there are lots of good books with eating plans and recipes to follow a combining lifestyle.

OMG I am doing this. It is helping me.

today however, I made a smoothie with milk, blueberries and a banana. Back to bloating and not feeling well. I am NOT lactose intolerant btw. But I did combine those 3 foods and I feel like it. So now I believe dairy must be taken alone.

I also follow the theory of eating my veggies and then my proteins and I quit mixing my starches and my meats... what a HUGE difference that has made for me...

This is me personally, and I have had some gastro issues in the past and this has helped... weight loss I imagine will just be a bonus:)
