Swimming with Polar F6

Does anyone else here own a Polar F6 HRM, and have you tried swimming with it? I've read elsewhere that people wear it when they do laps at the pool, and I want to try and use it when I go swimming so it counts as my workout for the day.

    Yeah i have a polar hrm it works great in the pool, i swam 87min the other day and burned 960cal whoop! Just make sure you give the contacts on the chest strap a good rinse afterwards to get rid of the chlorine.

    Is yours a Polar F6, too? Coz I know there are other models that are good for swimming, and I'm not sure if mine is.

    Its an ft4, but i am pretty sure the f6 is good for swimming. Enjoy! X
