You can always look through peoples diaries to get ideas. I do.
If you like fresh veggies, try dipping them in home made (or store bought, but it isn't nearly as good) hummus.0 -
Mix it up with some fun recipes! This is a great place to start: http://www.skinnytaste.com/0

I like what you eat, personally, But I agree, we all need a change when we get in a rut. Try the web site skinnytaste.com for some low fat/ low cal recipes.0

sparkpeople.com I love their recipes and they are healthy I found a great crock pot recipe for taco stew it was great and only 200 calories per serving.0

Sparkspeople.com which is like My Fitness Pal, just doesn't have great food diary, includes low fat recipes from several of its members.0

You need to get some books! Or surf the net and experiment with food. I make my own muesli, which is easy and awesome in the mornings. What about yum soups? Big chunky ones packed full of veg, like minestrone or Hungarian beef soup. Wholewheat pastas? You can make your own tomato sauce add some lean mince and make meatballs. I make some burgers as well and have them with wholemeal pita bread and roast vegetables. Even if you are not a very good cook it is possible to master a few very simple recipes and modify them. It is so easy to dip back into your old ways, for me it is a must that I challenge my taste buds so I am not as tempted. Good luck0

In my opinion, all you have to do is adjust your favourite recipes. Some of my favourite foods are lasagna and pizza. Therefore, I now made chicken pita pizza, and wheat lasagna rolls - both for under 500 calories for a satisfying dinner!
So - what are some of your favourite foods??
Curry chicken/lentils/chickpeas on basmati rice, Chicken with brocolli on wheat rice, chicken caesar salad, taco salad, etc....0 -
I am really into soups right now. I make a beef barley one that is 172 cals a serving, a chicken wild rice that is 97 cals a serving, a ham and lentil that is only 74 cals a serving, and I have the recipe for a southwestern chicken that is 176 cals a serving but I haven't tried it yet.0

you don't list any fruits and veggies (other than spinach).
Adding those can add variety.
Also, quinoa and couscous for variety instead of rice or potatoes.
I make pizza with flax and oat bran pitas...just spread a little sauce, sprinkle cheese and veggies and bake till crispy.
spaghetti squash with salsa as "sauce"...yum..add grilled chicken to the salsa for a complete meal.
protein shakes? yogurt and almond milk with frozen strawberries and a scoop of vanilla powder...0 -
The best thing I have done to change up my foods is changing the FLAVOR! I use different marinades on my chicken...different spices in my rice, just cooking the food a different way helps a LOT!! a few extra calories goes a LONG way!0
