I always suggest drinking a glass or two of water when you feel hungry. This is because a lot of times your body will confuse dehydration for hunger. If 15 minutes later you are still hungry, then you should eat something. I make a point of drinking at least 10 cups of water a day and it helps suppress "hunger" a lot.

Since you're breastfeeding, you're going to need to eat an extra 600 calories a day to make up for it. If you're not doing that, it's probably why you're hungry! Lets say MFP tells you to eat 1400 calories a day, you should be eating 2000. Hope this helps!
  • thanks for the feedback ladies, i will definitely be trying the water 1st
