    I lost three lbs this week despite having been staying away with family and not working out much - was very pleasantly surprised! Is nice to have lost 10lbs since this started! Well done everyone - we are collectively losing a LOT!!!

    Hi Princess!
    I do a workout DVD (40-50 minutes) every other day, and also try and walk everywhere that's less than two miles away - pushing 50lbs of kids in a double buggy probably helps!! I do DVDs by Davina McCall (British TV presenter) which were recommended to me by a friend who is a personal trainer - one called 'Super Body' in particular is very very good but not sure if you get it in the US. The weight is certainly dropping off me since I started combining this with MFP - averaging about 2.5lbs a week. It's quite hard to fit in with three small kids who keep me busy 14 hours a day, but I usually end up doing it about 9pm when I would otherwise just be sitting around and so go to bed feeling good :)

    I don't think we have weekly challenges, but someone correct me if I'm wrong. I know my personal challenge this week is to not over indulge in lunch because that's where I went horribly wrong last week.

    Lost 2lbs since my weigh-in last Monday! Since I started back with MFP I've lost 5.6! I'm happy with that, especially since it was a crazy week and I was expecting no loss at all! This week, I'm really challenging myself to get at least 7 glasses of water (I've been lacking in this area)...

    I agree the posts have been random. I had been faithful but its less motivating when nobody is on there w ya....I will weigh in on Monday and check in w folks then. So glad to see both of your losses but I had been doing so well I truly could not bear to see a crazy gain after the holiday weekend. Back on track and feel good! Check in monday!

    Since nobbody was posting, I went ahead and joined another group, and then TOM came to visit me, and that was just awful as I felt STARVED, and ate a bunch of crap,
    but I'm still here! plugging along...I'll weigh in next Monday too! Come on guys! Let's do this!

    Ah, I was sort of hiding because I think I feel off of the wagon a bit after thanksgiving, lol! I forgot to weigh in today, but I will tomorrow if I remember. Unfortunately, I think it'll probably be back around my starting point, but as I get closer to goal, I realize that it's harder, so I don't want to be too tough on myself just yet. My main goal is really to tone because I feel like as I've lost weight, I've lost a decent amount of muscle too. Time to get back at it! Good luck everyone:)

    Well we seem to have shrunk in group size one way or another! ;) Good on those who are still at it!
    Didn't weigh in this week as had my xmas party weekend so knew I had done bad, but I had a sneak peak tonight and I'm two off my target weight with two more weeks to check in before the end of the year - I'm hoping a couple of tactical workouts over the break might see me do it! Seriously, if I can lose 55 lbs this year ANYONE can!!

    Hi all! I've been monsterously busy during the holidays; I mean c'mon I work at a cookie/ice cream store/cafe for crying out loud! So things are calming down, but my weight is still a ways up there. I have gained at least 2-4 pounds since last weighing in and posting here. However, I am slowly getting back on track. No way I can lose 7 pounds by the end of tomorrow. :laugh: But I'll be back in full force come next week. So who's with me to start a new motivivation thread after the new year? :wink:
