Hello All,
I am new to this site which was recommended to me by my physician. My hope is to loose 100 pounds and finally get to what they call my ideal weight. That being said, this is very difficult, but with the support of people like you, I hope to stay motivated to complete this journey. So far, since I started on the site (two days ago), I have exceeded my total calories for the day, which just lets me know that I still have a long way to go. Any ideas or suggestions that you may have would be greatly appreciated.

I've only been doing this a short time and I was over my calorie limit at first also. As you realize how many calories are in foods, you will educate yourself and begin to start eating with the calories limits. You can do it! Good luck!0

Hi and welcome!
It is all a learning curve and as already said you will start to learn what options are better (my food diary today proves it doesn't always work though!).
Sometimes what can help is to plan out what you will eat that day in advance, can help you juggle calories a little better and let you know in advance if you will have some spare for treats etc.
