I have been busting my buns the past 2 months and have only lost 4 pounds and almost gave up.. Then I remembered that I took my measurements last month! So I took my measurements this am and guess what???? I HAVE LOST 8.5 INCHES!! SUCCESS!! I will never again feel like my hard work is for nothing! No more obsessive weighing on the scale, screw the damn thing! I am just going to keep doing what I am doing!!! Thanks for sharing my NSV with me pals!!!!

I know what you mean about the scale!!! Worked my butt off for the past few months....lost 4 stinking pounds!!!! I now think of the scale as a piece of furniture that I only sometimes use....and never really feel comfortable on!!!!! But I took my measurements too....might just revisit the tape measure tomorrow morning. At least I can say that I have gained endurance, stamina and willpower!!!! Those gains I'll take!!!

Well done, thats a great loss.
I feel the same way, I really haven't lost lbs in a few weeks but my clothes fit better and poeple are telling me they can see a difference.

I am going to take measurements and hopefully not weigh myself for 2 weeks and see what happens.

I know that feeling!! I've been stuck for about 5 weeks...... :( It's frustrating so I'm trying to focus on the fact that my clothes fit better!!!

    Good luck!!

Yay! I love taking measurements! I feel they are a better indicator of success. I've been making it a point to measure myself every 2 weeks that way when I feel I've had a 'less' successful loss I have a chance to double check with measuring my progress. Congrats on losing the inches!!! So glad you see the importance of numbers off the scale!
  • Thanks for all the support everyone! I am glad so many of you are already aware of how the scale can "lie" sometimes. Let's all stay on track no matter what that thing says! THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL OF YOUR INPUT  CHEERS :drinker: Also feel free to add me as a friend
