I am a soon to be 36 year old female who has struggled with my weight since college. I have tried every diet plan in the book and when I maxed out at 263 pounds, I decided to see a nutritionist. His advice - RNY surgery. So they put me on a 6 month nutrition program in preparation for surgery. I am in month 4, have lost 15 of the 26 pounds I need to lose and am looking for anyone out there considering this surgery or who has had it who can give me some insight.
