At the start of 2010, my wife and I reached a point where we knew our lives had to change. I started at a weight of 485... when I stepped on the scale today it read 234.4 that equals a 250.6 pound lost. If you would of told me when I started this lifelong journey that I would be back down to this weight, I would of laughed at you. Now if you tell me I could get under 200, I would say without a doubt. My profile speaks to the way I accomplished it...ONE DAY AT A TIME. Thanks for all the support I have received from my pals and esp. my beautiful wife who has dropped 128. Check out my profile for pics and if you are very supportive on here, I would love to have you join my journey.

My fav quote:

If you always do...what you always did...you always get...what you always got.

You and your wife are truly an inspiration to all of us on MFP....Congratulations to the both of you!!! You both look amazing! Great job!
  • Wow, that's amazing.......congratulations. Also congratulations to your wife too, an amazing accomplishment!
  • Just remember alot of days are better than others. If you fall off the wagon, pick yourself up and get back on it. We both knew that our lifes were destined for better things, than a life of medical issues. I can not say that we do not still have medical issues that we have to live with, but we changed the chapters of our life story. Hopefully each and every one of you can change your chapters of life and celebrate each accompolishment.
  • WOW ... amazing!!! What an inspiration both of you are to the rest of us!! One day at a time ... I love that! It is so important to keep that in mind ... Thank you for sharing your story!

A man that grits his teeth every morning and gets it done! A man that never let's his mind tell his body what it cannot do! A man that lost 250lbs, on his terms, because he wanted to. I have nothing but respect for you good sir!
