pre-workout ??

I need something that will give me that extra energy boost prior to my workouts.. nothing heavy because I get "sick" if I eat before/right after a hard workout.. ideas, suggestions, anything?? pls & thx!

    Coffee with sugar or creamer - lots of carbs + caffeine...

    An apple or banana, or maybe some trail mix.

    A banana or piece of whole grain toast with 1 tbsp peanut butter about 1 hour before your workout. Don't forget to drink that water beforehand, too. I have the same problem with getting nauseous if eat the wrong thing or too soon before my workout. Hope this helps...

    carbs in coffee? and creamer has no carbs either.

    however, i'd try fresh fruit as well! an apple or a banana (not too big)
