OMG, 3399 calories for easter! Oh no! It was probably more than that, but I can't remember everything I ate! Anyone else care to share their Easter calories?

Luckily I don't have family close so I don't go all out. I did go out with a friend for dinner and had a martini & Indian dish...I felt soooooooo full!! Well, still do, and I ate a HUGE dark chocolate bar right after, like 500 calories with.
Don't feel bad & don't worry about the calories today. We can't be on a perfect routine everyday! Do some light exercise tonight if you can0 -
My family didn't cook. We had KFC, which I never have seconds of. But I took a little of everything... plus two Turtle Brownies, and two Deviled Eggs. Which brought my Calorie count to a whopping 1,294, and that was for ONE meal. :grumble: Tomorrow won't be any better though. I'm cooking Easter dinner for my husband. We're having Mashed poatoes, ham, corn, dinner rolls, corn, and greenbeans. :indifferent: We'll see how that goes!

Same as every day, we didn't eat a big traditional Easter dinner. I made homemade pizzas (veggie for me with wheat crust), that's what everyone wanted. :happy:0

I ate over 200 grams of sugar, which when I look back on it, is something I did relatively frequently before joining MFP! I went for two runs today to try and counterbalance the calories, but I think I'm going to have to call it a day and just file it as fun, chocolate-filled day.0

We had ham , baked sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts. For desert I made a lemon cake with diet sprite. I'm having SF lemon pudding with light cool whip mixed in it as frosting. Ok so my breakfast,lunch, dinner ,2 snacks and a big piece of lemon cake. 1,668 calories for the day. Cindy0

I just logged it made me want to cry 2800 calories and I even skipped the traditional Easter Breakfast at my Church because I wanted to be good! I also didn't get in any exercise--I wrote in my journal this was a glimpse at the OLD me and I don't like it one bit--I also feel kind of sick so hopefully this will teach me a lesson--Back at it tomorrow hopefully remembering how I feel right now!

I didn't do anything special today, so I ate normally and went running and played tennis.
BUT last night I celebrated finally quitting my crappy job, so I had 2 double rum with diet cokes, 2 white chocolate Lindt truffles, a mini reese's cup, 1/2 a small white chocolate hot cocoa, and 1/2 a bag of peanut butter chocolate bugles.0 -
OMG waaaaayy to many!!! I walked 1.5 miles this morning at a brisk pace b/c I knew what today was going to bring. It all started with a kiss, a hershey kiss that is....and then it turned into a total sugar BINGE!!!!!!!!! :blushing: I am just trying to forgive and forget...tomorrow is a new day.....filled with lots of exercise!0

I just enjoyed the day. Too many calories to count- especially since my husband gave me an easter basket with my favorite chocolate candies. I counted this day as my cheat day. Hope everyone had a happy easter!!! :flowerforyou:1

Same goes for me, I didn't even log! Once I "finished" the meal by having a piece of buttermilk pie, a piece of Boston cream pie, AND a piece of apple pie, (I just couldn't make up my mind WHICH 1 to pick, so I ate all 3!), I decided there was NO WAY I was going to even TRY logging everything I ate! :laugh:
I'll just get right back on track tomorrow! That's the best part about MFP, we CAN enjoy things that we love sometimes!0 -
omg i definitely had so much food that i lost track. i feel gross. im not eating anything else for the rest of the day.. today and yesterday were my splurge days. im officially back on my 1200 cal plan tomorrow! in the meantime i will probably feel guilty and totally yucky.. i ate too much!!!!0

I splurged and went over board by 900 calories. I've yet to exercise and may not today. It's Easter and we celebrated my daughters 15 birthday. Double the desserts! Oh well, I'll make up for it the rest of the week. I just can't believe my willpower can go out the window so quickly.

Ok So here is what I am getting from this thread.
We are all learning a LOT from logging our calories. I feel that the more we know, the less often the food fests will occur.
Today I ate 1582 in cals. I shoot for 1200-1500 and I exercised.
Now what did I eat??? I aint telling!!

I have 1100 calories in, and that is after dinner! i measure everything, and had Ham, ( 3 oz) mashed potatoes, ( half cup) stuffing (1/4 cup ) green beans and a salad with fat free ranch dressing. and 4
m &ms but couldnt figure out how to log those... I had a light breakfast, and half of sandwich for lunch. :drinker: I may have a glass of wine!0 -
This weekend was a triple celebration (one reason being Ironic) so I ate bad all weekend. Saturday was my mother's birthday... and I haven't been home with her to celebrate one for quite awhile; of course, Sunday being Easter... BUT (heres the ironic part of celebration eating... I made my goal 125)
Anyway... I didn't log in because I was at their house & away from my computer, I knew I'd be over and bad. I bought a cheese cake for my mother's birthday cake and made an Easter Basket for them with Reeses PB eggs, mini chocolate bunnies & gelly beans... well, my dad had bought a big traditional sheet cake, my mom knowing we were coming over for both occasions had bought a pie, cherry cheese cake, ice cream & m & ms. Then of course, ham, au grautin potatoes, buns, green beans, & alcohol drinks.
i did manage to go for a walk today & burned 313 calories.
Ugh... I feel so sick, tired & cranky and I keep having these flashes where my face gets hot and red but the rest of me doesn't.... ??? Weird.0 -
I worked out this morning so I had 1540 today.0

well- i am supposed to stay within 1380 calories .. and after splurging today i stayed at 1340. the funny thing is, i know that eating the way i ate today makes me GAIN weight. I have been following my guidelines. I have stayed at or a litle below 1200 or 1250 calories and I have been doing cardio and taking boot camp classes at the gym and it just keeps going UP!!!!!!!!! help me out here guys!!!???:sad: because this is just killing me. I am 15 lbs heavier than i was last year. I am 5'5 and i weight 145. Last year I was 129 to 130 i bounced. This is killing me!0

1511 for me. only 311 over and I didnt bother with excercise. I stayed away from the candy and skipped lunch. Small breakfast too. The bulk of my calories were from dinner. But I am ok with what I went over and its back to the grindstone tomorrow. Luckily it was at my mother in laws so no left overs and I made dessert and left that there too!!0

I don't know my calorie count for the day. I know I ate foods I don't eat regularly. I know that healthful things were in all the dishes because I made them. I know I will not eat like this everyday, I know I will not eat like this tomorrow. I did make a new dish pineapple coleslaw. Has some real possibilities as a low cal. good nutrition dish, which you could add a little chicken etc. I do know my sugar levels are too high for the day. Have just finished a moderate workout. Throughly enjoyed my family today,
enjoyed my church service this morning. It was a great day!!!0 -

Just figure out mine...I'm at 1359 and STARVING, we ate way to early...we usually eat at 7, so 4 leaves my stomach thinking my dinner is coming
We did very well modifiying the recipes, so it could have been worse. my mom is maintaining on MFP and I'm losing my dad is diabetic...hubby still underweight, but he had 3 ensures when we got home..sooo...
I came home and did the cardio with bob on demand...loved it!!! And I preplanned a perfect day for tomorrow all is pack and planned for so we shall see...
BTW I won the biggest loser contest at my gym last week, I lost 1.38 percent of my weight....wow, I'd be below the yellow line on that rate. HUH?:blushing: :blushing:0 -

How long have you been on your current workout plan? You have to remember that muscle weighs more than fat, so you could be shedding fat and building lean muscle...
As for today, I got in 1940 cals, and was over by 230. That includes a regular southern breakfast of Biscuits, with Eggs and Gravy + Turkey sausage patties. Didn't eat lunch. Had the traditional Easter dinner, Ham, Yams, Potato Salad, Deviled Eggs, Cole Slaw, and Mac N Cheese. I was pretty proud of myself last night though. I stayed up until midnight cooking, and didn't sample anything...My wife was a willing taste tester for me0 -
I was all ready to pig out today and then my cousins stupid giant pitbull dog decided that it wanted to use my 5 pound yorkie as a play toy. I've never heard my dog scream before today. It was totally disturbing and totally destroyed ANY amount of hunger that I had. I barely at a thing!!!! :ohwell:0
