So i am not new to this, but i havent been steady. Now im ready to get serious, and im hoping i can get the best motivation from everyone!! I am now serious because my boyfriend of 6 years purposed to me last thursday!! so we all know what that means, I need to lose weight for my wedding day next September/October lol. Im hoping to drop 30 pounds. I am currently 140, so my ideal weight will be between 110 and 115. I am only 5'2 and have a small frame, and unfortanately all my fat goes to my stomach, although this newest weight gain, ive noticed it in my arms!! If anyone have any recommendations, or comments for me, please post, i will enjoy hearing feedback of any sort!
Thanks, Take care

Hi Natasha,

I don't know if you go to the gym but I would suggest running or lots of cardio!!! And change up little things in your diet. Makes a big difference. Sugar is my weakness so always a fight!
Good luck!0 -
More power to ya - make it happen!
You asked for some suggestions, so here goes:
#1. Total calories is the most important. Make sure you eat less than you burn every day, and you will lose weight.
#2. Don't drop the calories to extreme, all at once. Just enough to lose 1 - 2 pounds a week. After a month, and you lose some weight, you may need to drop the calories a little more again. Try to eat the right amount to keep losing 1 - 2 pounds a week steadily.
#3. Not just total calories matters, but also, where the calories come from. Eat healthy foods. If possible, avoid sodas, junk, fried foods, etc... Try to get a decent amount of protein, and don't forget, you need some healthy fats in your diet too. Fats are not the enemy. Too many calories, and a bad source of calories, is the enemy.
#4. Eat carbs in the first part of the day, fats in the evening, and protein with every meal. Not everyone may agree with this, but I believe it helps.
#5. Don't forget to exercise. Very important. Cardio some days, and a little resistance training too will help.
#6. Take a good multi vitamin, and joint supplication if you need it. (glucosamine, chondroitin, etc...)
#7. Eat often. 5 - 6 little meals every day, spread throughout the day.
#8. Drink a lot of water.
#9. Get good rest/sleep at night.
Don't worry about fat loss supplements or anything else. Diet & exercise is the key. If you do the above right, you will have great success. It should work quick, and you can reach your wedding day goal very easily, even much sooner. Don't try to lose 20 pounds in 10 days, or anything crazy. It would just be water weight and muscle lost, and your body would go into starvation mode, and preserve fat.
Once you get down to where you want, then you just have to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and you will be able to keep the weight off. No need to bounce back & forth anymore.0
