    feel free to add me.

Have you done any running before? I run at the weekends now but had never run before so I downloaded the C25K app on my phone, its a gradual way of getting going and is easy to follow.

Good luck with your weight loss xx

Hi...good on you for coming back...and giving up the *kitten* - best thing I ever did! It's taken me a while too. I wasn't a runner AT ALL until after I had my baby number 2 then I sort of fell into it when my husband started training for a half marathon. From not being able to keep up a jogging pace for a single kilometre...6 months later I completed a 10km run (slowly, but I still finished it!). I've since had baby number 3 and have just got back into it again. My advice...good shoes...start slowly...set realistic goals...and keep pushing yourself just a tiny bit more each time. Even if you start like I did and run/walk/run/walk (in an interval training type way) you will amaze yourself at how quickly you can do more. Oh...and on those days that you REALLY can't be bothered...do it anyway, you'll be proud of yourself, not feel guilty AND be keeping on track. I don't know if you'll be running with the kiddies but I also have a double running pram (a Schwinn M3 - wonderful machine!) that I take my younger two (3 yrs and 1 yr) out in when I don't have anyone to watch them...they love it and I get to burn even more calories! Good luck! I've just read Seahorse's post...I also use a phone app....I find that very helpful too :)
