Boardwalk Empire?

I'm about to watch s01e01 of Boardwalk Empire. IMDb gives it an 8.9/10. Sounds good to me and I love Steve Buscemi. Anyone ever seen it? Thoughts?

No spoilers, please...obviously.

    I have watched it and I adore it. Great characters, amazing actors and the set and scenery is amazing too. A little blood curdling in places. I have loved every episode x

    From or production perspective it is awesome. My husband loves it but for me it is a bit too raw.

    I'm on series 2, it's good, but not as good as you would expect. Love Steve Buscemi too and he holds it together, it just isn't as gripping as say Sopranos or Madmen. Can't quite put my finger on why.

    Anyway, it's better than most of the crap on TV so enjoy.

    LOVE IT!!!!! I'm so hooked and sad to say but Sunday nights are the thing I live for right now. I'm in love with Jimmy and Owen!!! This season is getting soooo good!!!! Enjoy!
