Hello from Ohio. I'm Erik and I am a married, father of 5. I'm an active 27 year old that has been there, done that, kinda. I work as a youth specialist at a boarding school for troubled inner city youth. In my spare time, I like to exercise and participate in any sport that I can with my kids. I am a team member of Peak Submission Shootbox Academy, where I am a Mixed Martial Arts practitioner. Although I am currently tendering a fractured patella, I still find time to get my training done. My 7 year old son is also a member and getting excited to participate in his first jiu-jitzu tournament. At Christmas time I weighted 220 lbs. It was difficult to carry around that weight being only 5'6 and fighting guys at my weight that are almost a foot taller than me. I am now down to 175 and hope to reach 160. This will allow me to be a more effective mixed martial arts fighter. I do take supplements with success from Advocare. Some of the products that worked for me were Catalyst, which is a metabolism balancer, Thermoplus, a weight loss product, and Muscle Strength. I'm glad I found this site and hope I can share the rest of my fitness success with all of you.
