    How nice for her! She was beautiful before of course, but I'm sure she's feeling much healthier now.

    Wow... that is amazing! Good thing they're done filming the Harry Potter movies, or she wouldn't be able to play the Fat Lady portrait anymore. :)

    Such great news! I've been a fan of hers for years, and I hated to see her growing rathr than shrinking over time. She looks TERRIFIC!!!!

    She looks wonderful good for her. She's a larger than life character anyway and so unbelievably funny. She doesent need that extra weight on her. She has a beautiful face and Im sure she feels so much better for losing that much 'GOOD FOR YOU DAWN;

    WOW! She was always beautiful anyway but hopefully loosing the weight will mean she's on this earth for that bit longer :smile:

    Wowv! I've always liked her. I was shocked when I saw her pictures on tv yesterday.
    They say she has lost it slowly and that's the best way. She looks great, she always has. Now she looks healthier!

    I hope she finds a new man, she is terrific !

    I heard she used gastric band? dont know if thats true though, but whatever she looks amazing , a little older maybe but just absolutely fabulous!:wink:

    1 stone equals 14 pounds. She lost 84 pounds.

    This is awesome :) It means we've got decades more laughs to come from her! Like others I got scared for her when she went from rather plump to full on huge. I'm so pleased for her!

    Same here. Thanks from a UK girl luring in Oz. I love Dawn French and always thought she was stunning even at her biggest but got to say she looks fantastic now.

    WOWZER, what a difference. I met her once, in Leigh Delamare Services on the M4 and she was just as infetious and wonderful in person as she come across in her programmes. Go Dawny, :D

    I agree - she has always looked gorgeous - and now she looks even better and it will pay off huge dividends for her health!!! Amazing lovely Dawn!!! She will always be funny! I hope she gets to see all the supportive comments!
