So I want to hear some of the rules that you live by as far as your nutrition and working out! I would also like to hear your diet do's and dont's and what you have found that works for you guys!
My boss has a nutritionist that plans all of her meals. She tells me to always eat a protein when having fruit.
I would love to hear your feedback!!

Have discipline.
Don't be so focused on the scale numbers.
Search for questions, it's already been covered.0 -

Do:
-be honest with what you're eating
- stay positive and realize this is a lifestyle change not a short term fix
-use the support from fellow MFPers!
Don't :
-punish yourself if you slip up or really want that cupcake- it'll only make you feel worse!
-starve yourself0 -
Be honest with myself
Eat breakfast every day
Eat often enough to not be starving
Keep bread/crackers to a minimum
Log everyday, even if you make a mess of it
Keep it to yourself (I lost 40 pounds before anyone noticed)
Take a multivitamin
I weigh EVERY day (if I am not getting on the scale daily it means I am gaining)
Learn to love fruit and vegetables better than meat and potatoes
Cook and eat at home
That's just a start!0 -

Keep it real
Track everything w/in reason but don't stress exact-ness if you can't get it (ie parties, holidays, etc.)
Drink water
Cut back or stop the soda
Find fun exercises that keep you motivated
Space out meals so you don't feel hungry
Stay on or under your calorie number
eat your exercise calories
Take a vitamin
Weigh yourself
Allow yourself to have a splurge day when your 'cravings' get to be too much.
Don't be too hard on yourself if you have a rough day.
Most of all - OWN IT! Do it for you, yourself, and no one else. If you own it, you make yourself responsible for your successes and failures. There's nothing else to place blame on.0 -
Do:
Exercise regularly
Eat smaller portions
Space out your meals
Don't:
Overindulge
Weigh yourself too often (it WILL frustrate you)
Eat too close to your bedtime
