What do you guys think about the XBox Kinect workouts? Anyone tried them?

  • I have used the demo for the Biggest Loser Workout with Kinect. It is okay, but I haven't ran out to buy the game. For the Kinect, make sure you have a big living room!

We LOVE our Kinnect!! Especially the Dance game...its fun for everyone..even my 4 year old plays it. Also the Adventure game is a calorie roaster.

We have the Kinect and we (my husband and I) are pretty addicted to it! It's fun and a great workout. The Kinect is our only form of working out.

We use Kinect Sports (and we just got the new one), Your Shape Fitness Evolved and Dance Central.

    Totally fun!

If you live in an apartment building and get a Kinect, do your downstairs neighbors a favor and get a good rug to put in front of the tv. Our old neighbors had one and it sounded like elephants on a trampoline. They eventually got a rug and it was much less bothersome :-)

Also, head the advice earlier and make sure you have enough room. You need to be 6-10 feet from the sensor/your tv. Here is a good article by someone tyring it in a small apartment.

I need to move my couch a bit, but then it works great. It is a lot of fun!

Thanks for the tips guys..I live in a house so the noise thing with the neighbors shouldn't be a problem. I have a spacious enough family room..I am getting excited.
