Which is more beneficial..?

I think it is way more easy to simply quick add my calories. Is it more beneficial though to actually get the exact food and all the other measurements..? Or does it really not matter?

    it doesnt matter unless you have specific health problems where you have to watch sodium for high blood pressure etc.

    I like to make sure I get enough protein and not eat so many carbs, so I log the actual food.

    i like to see the macros break down to ensure that i am getting a well rounded and proper nutrition diet.

    I like puttting in exactly what i ate so i can go back and look eg oh wow that fist week i ate soo bad, etc . i like the nutrient breakdown too. i think its just a matter of personal choice
