November Shred-It Challenge Day 8

We made it thru the first week! Nice job everyone! 3 more weeks to go.
I'm personally very excited for a week from now when we post our mid-point weight and measurements. I havent been on the scale since day 4, so I'm eager to hop on in a week.
My back was a little sore yesterday when I was doing my Shred, so I might take a break from it today, and hop on the treadmill for some good cardio.
My body is definitely feeling different. I'd say I'm seeing the most difference in my mid-section. Very happy!

Good morning ladies! It was a slow start to my morning. I woke up at 5:30am to do my workout. I got up, went to the bathroom, jumped on the scale...didn't like what it showed me, looked at my heart rate monitor...it told me 'Rest to recover', so I went back to my bed. I didn't sleep, I was laying there thinking I need to get up and do the Shred. So at around 6:25am I got up and headed downstairs to do Day 8 of the 30DS.
I don't know what is up with the scale, but I don't really care because I feel great and things are still on track. I am meeting my goal of the Shred challenge. AND my other challenge of 1000 calories burned a day, is right on track too. I may not be getting enough rest. My caloric intake is usually under 1500, except yesterday it was up to 1800.

So I did not manage to get myself to shred or run yesterday or day before. I have been so exhausted for the past 2 days and yesterday was just a miserable day all around. The good news is that this morning I woke up feeling well rested, so I truly believe I will get to it today after work. I stopped at Dunkin this morning and got way too much food, but I feel so good today that I don't care. I will definitely be over on my calories for the day, but I don't like to kick myself too hard for it, especially if it somehow makes me more likely to workout later or maintains this great feeling I have today. I will catch up the 2 days that I lost and will hopefully have some sort of result to share on the 15th.0

I have a strong feeling that you'll see big changes when you measure yourself at the mid-point. Youre probably piling on the muscle and burning off fat. Keep it up! Dont let that scale discourage you!0 -
I don't think I will be doing the shred today. I attempted in but didn't get far. I am just not feeling strong enough for it today. I have no idea whats going on. I may try again later if not I'll just do some cardio to make up for it.0

Still waking up today, but I have nothing to do today but relax, watch TV and movies, and focus on my eating and exercise. I did the shred only once yesterday, I was going to do it twice like the day before to make up for the two days that I missed, but I felt that the one time was ok yesterday. I find I can do the 20 mins a lot easier now. Only taking about 3 quick water sip breaks! haha
I think for my day 8 today I will maybe try level 2. I will be super busy this weekend bringing up a car to my moms, and back and maybe myself getting a new car too...we'll see. But I know I am not going to be doing much shredding this weekend! So yea, I will do L2 today and see how I do.0 -
Good Morning Shredders
Hmmmm, looks like people are taking a rest day! I really want to Shred today but yesterday I did something to my calf muscle yesterday. It is very sore today so I am going to spend the day walking around, getting chores done and hopefully by the end of the day my calf muscle will like me and I will be able to Shred. Put my neck out too so I am off to the the chiropractor this afternoon.
Saw my massage therapist yesterday and she was amazed at the change in my body in just one week, I'm so excited to keep going but at the same time need to be smart and listen to my body.
Darn being smart! I wanna exercise!

Just found a measuring tape! and just measured, better late than never. But yea I went to walmart yesterday trying to find a measuring tape and couldnt find one anywhere!
And I just weighed in to see if there were any changes and nope! well at least I didnt gain again
But now I can at least see if there are any inches being lost now. I wish it was from the beginning0 -
I did the shread this morning, level 2 again for me, on Day 8!!! I wish i could say im seeing a result.. im eating right and everything but i dont see it yet. Im hoping it will just hit me one day that their is a difference. Maybe next week when i take my mesurments again!

And remember, if your taking a "rest" day! ONLY TAKE ONE!!!! If you stop one day, sometimes you dont have the motivation to keep going! KEEP GOING!!! you CAN do it!!!0

I managed to get my day8 in. I couldn't miss today . I felt guilty all afternoon for being to weak to do it. I had a snack and rested and got it done.0

I'll go ahead and say I won't be finishing this with you ladies. I managed to get very sick last week and fell far behind. But I will be finishing it on my own at a different pace. Good luck to you all and I look forward to hearing about your successes!0

Wow, got so sick all of a sudden today! Not going to be able to shred. Hopefully Im back to normal tomorrow!!!!0

After 2 days of being super sick I managed to get in day 8 today. I still feel like crap and all I want to do is sleep...horrible timing to get sick!! Going to bed now so I can hopefully get up early to do day 9 tomorrow! Hope everyone is back on track tomorrow...I know how easy it is to give up.0

Yeah, I took the day off today as well. But, I was under my calorie count for the day, so that's something good. I'll be ready to tackle shred tomorrow and maybe throw in a little extra cardio to make up for today.

well I actually did L2 today. I thought I wasnt going to be able to cause I felt so sick earlier but I just did it. I was over on my cals and feling so guitly!
