...how you can't just reply to what looks like a normal forum post anymore!

You read through everybody's posts then go to have your say but get told "you need to be a member of this group to post a reply"!

But I don't want to be a member of every single forum post I read through!

I think the groups are a great idea and I have already joined a couple, but it's all getting a bit confusing in the recent forum posts now!

Just my thoughts...

    True story. I've learned to look at the dark blue bit at the top that says which subforum you're in. For example:

    Groups be they public or private should not appear in the general viewing area (unless the viewer is a group member)... This makes me sad...

    I'm sure MFP is aware of this and looking for a solution, be patient as there will be bugs and it will take time to get them all sorted out.

    I happen to enjoy all group posts coming up. Some of the new groups are fascinating. :)

    I agree the groups are cool but if I wanted to be a part of them I would join those groups.

    And the groups should be expecting and receiving a certain amount of privacy (like not showing up in the general news feed of non group members). :flowerforyou:

    how do you join them though? I keep going to post a reply and then cant, and theres no way of asking to join??
