yes. The calories MFP gives you is to lose your goal amount of weight with no exercise. If you exercise you should eat more than 1200.

The benefits of exercise are more about health and less about weight loss. Weight loss is 80% diet.
  • As long as you maintain a healthy calorie deficit, you will lose weight. You should still find some way to be active however to assist in your weight loss goals.

    Yes.

Sidenote: Can you move your arms freely? There are many arm exercises you can do that will burn calories, even while sitting or lying in bed or on the couch. Try googling or YouTubeing "chair aerobics" and seeing if you can do any of the moves. Good luck!

You'll lose some, depending on how much you have to lose you might see pretty big drops. Exercise definitely helps though. If it's a financial constrain you can use anything around the house, even lifting a pot of water repeatedly would count as exercise. If it's a physical constrain you should still be able to do something. For example, if you weighed 1000lbs and were bed ridden you could still exercise by just lifting your arms or using light resistance bands.
