At what point did the inches or weight start coming off?
I am half way through and although I am a bit stronger and have more endurance I am not seeing any changes as far as inches & weight loss.

Not sure. I totally forgot to measure, but when I was done I had lost 2 pant sizes, but only 7lbs. That was doing the C25K 3x a week and the 30DS 5x a week. I was training for a stroller 5k at the time too or I would've just done the shred.0

How much weight do you have to/need to lose?
I only have a few pounds left to lose, and the 30 day shred did not help me lose it.
As most people say, I saw definition and body changes, but no changes on the scale.0 -
I dunno, i suck at taking measurements but I did take before/after pics and the difference was pretty awesome. I couldn't see it in myself at first but then looking at the pics I was like woah.0

Bump.
I am interested in this too. I am starting the shred this week.0 -
Try Slim in 6 or Insanity.. Noth of these programs will help you.0

I think to lose pounds you are going to have to incorporate cardio with the 30DS. If you are already doing cardio then it has to be your diet.0

I only lost 4 lbs but at 1/2 point I measured....at day 13...1in from upper waist, 1.5 in from middle waist, 1 1/4in from hips, 1in in leg, 1/2 in in each arm, 2 inches in chest....I eventually lost 24 inches overall but I guess it depends how large you are. The more you have to lose the easier it comes off! I did this in June-July and am now doing it again 2nd time around since I lost so many inches and went down a whole size! Best of luck to you and be patient...your body is changing!0

Yeah I lost 3.5lbs but 8 inches which you can see more than the 3.5lbs....I say stick with it and don't expect to lose crazy numbers especially if your only doing 30DS- i paired it with walking/running on the treadmill and I did it for consecutive day missing 2days but completing 30 - I'm on my second round doing level 2 & 3 for 15 days each I know I can finally do the walk out push ups - real ones - I'm stronger and I have more endurance - I can run on my treadmill....remember you really don't want the weight to come off overnight....you want slow and steady - plus it didn't get there overnight....I can't wait I'm done next for me Ripped in 30 & buns & thighs....GL0

I am having the same issue - seeing inches but not pounds. I'm only about a week into it and have had to start and stop a few times due to illness so we'll see. Glad to see that my path isn't just mine.0

Thanks everyone.
I am only doing the shred so maybe its just not enough.
I am 5'4" and weigh 160. So not huge but still overweight. Its all in the belly. I would like to get down to 130 or less. I wear a misses size 12 jeans and would like to wear a misses size 4-6. But even more then a weight goal or clothing size goal I WANT the belly GONE.0 -

I think 25 minute workout is plenty! It is cardio and strength training combined which is the perfect combo! I think too much exercise will backfire on you! All the jumping jacks should help shed that belly!! Stick with....you will be happy with the results!0 -
I'm on the last level of the shred now. I haven't noticed any inches or weight come off so far, but I did take a before picture so I'm hoping when I'm done I'll notice a difference in the before and after pic. I'm sticking with it because I've noticed that areas of my body are much more toned then they were before I started and I just feel stronger because of it. I'm 5' 7" and weigh 145 lbs and the shred is the only thing I'm doing each day, so that may be why I'm not seeing the results others are, but it's still worth it to me.0

I bought mine at Target for about $10.0 -
I just completed my first day of level one. I know I have weight to lose (50+ after baby) and that I am out of shape, but I didnt realize HOW out of shape I was! This workout kicked my @$$, seriously! I am beet red, sweating from head to toe, and out of breath!
If anyone else would like to do the 30DS and log progress and changes please add me as a friend0 -
If you think about it they say that it is healthy to lose a pound a week and to keep it off. SO basically 4 weeks losing 3-4 lbs is pretty good! If you lose more inches than that's what is going to look good in those jeans. I will being dong day two of the SHRED today....hopefully I can stay committed and lose some serious inches myself!0

I suck at measurements. I have never done the 30DS for the 30 ays straight, but I do 3-4 times a week. Everytime that I have used it I tend to see about 1 pound lost every time I o it. Until now, I lost 8 pounds in the first week or so and have been going up and own 2 pounds for 3 weeks now. This week I've started the 30 ay challenge which uses 30DS, NMTZ, and BFBM. Hopefully I'll see some results on the scale with it.
I do notice a huge difference in the muscle in my arms an this morning while I was working out I couldn't keep my eyes off my legs. They look so much smalled and toned then before.
Although the scale may not be moving you should be noticing progress in another area. Your clothes should be fitting better or bet getting looser. If there isn't ANY change at all, I would look more into your diet and add some more cardio to your routine.0 -
I've been doing 30DS differently than then the norm. I basically started it in July at 187 lbs and spent 2 months doing level 1 4-5 times a week. Then at 177 lbs, I moved up to level 2 and have been doing it 5 times a week. It's the only exercise I do, besides chasing a toddler around, and I've lost 24 lbs so far and gone down 2 jeans sizes. In the first month I only lost about 7 lbs, but felt a major difference in my clothing, then in the 2nd month I started dropping about 1.5 lbs a week with MFP help. After switching to Level 2 I've maintained my 1.5 lbs a week rate and have noticed some major muscle definition in my arms and legs. I'm planning on moving on to level 3 starting next week. You will see results with this program, but you have to do it regularly and follow your MFP calorie guidelines.0
