Jump Rope

Looking to purchase a jump rope. Amazon has some fairly inexpensive models, but I'm not sure what to purchase. Something durable with some heft to it. Any recommendations? I see there are vinyl models (for indoor use) for speed and leather models.

    I bought a nice durable one at Walmart for 6.97. Love it!!

    I have a leather one and when I miss it smacks me in the leg and it really hurts! Gives new meaning to "whip me into shape" :/
