So what is your winter drink of choice? Now that its cold out and only going to get colder I dont drink beer too much. I switch it up to something warmer per se'
So what do you drink? during the winter months?

I usually go with more red wine such as Merlot, SHiraz etc....
I also have a fondness for "Krupnik"! Its an awesome Polish hone spirit.....40% Abv!

This is what I do 90% of the time that I have a drink. I may also have a little more red wine, and enjoy a White Russian now and again.
  • Gluhwein - It's a spiced wine that is served hot......YUMMY!

I switch from light liquors like vodka, white rum, white wine to dark liquors like brandy, cabarnet sauvignon, dark rum etc.

I just discovered the ultimate fall drink. Ace Pumpkin Cider. Otherwise, the warming drinks like red wines or good bourbon do well by me.

I picked up a bottle (okay, 2) of ponche crema when I was in Venezuela - it's sort of like bailey's but with a creamy, vanilla-y flavour instead of irish cream (which i'm not too fond of). I can't wait to put it in hot chocolate, eggnog, or just poor the whole mother into a mug and lay comatose till spring.
  • My grams famous Coffee Knudge

    Coffee with baileys and brandy.

careful though- it can be dangerous :-p

Hennessy year 'round, though in warm months I love hanging out on the deck all evening, grilling cajun-spiced shrimp and murdering a bottle of Gewurztraminer.

What I'm really having to fight this year is my traditional holiday-season Bacardi Rum Cake baking spree...I've got too many cakes already promised out to just skip it this year, but oooh it's so Not Good for me >.<
