Workout on a Budget!

I have little to no money and I'm always trying to find ways to workout with spending little or no money.. So I started doing research around my city and see what i could find to help with my weight loss. I came across 4 things that show to be promising..
1.) First thing I found was a senior home that also has low impact workout sessions for someone just trying to get into the swing of things without killing themselves initially. Only is 10 dollars to join a month.
2.) There are a lot of walking groups on facebook and other social sites that join together and just set goals for different levels of fitness.... Level 1 Easy walk, Level 2 Moderate Pace walk and Level 3 brisk advanced walk.. Some of the groups I came across were absolutely FREE!
3.) Of course the YMCA! If you didn't know the YMCA has financial assistance and they can work with you so that even YOU can afford a membership!! Just stop in and fill out a form with your financial information on it and within a few days they will tell you how much for you individually or for your entire household, if you are trying to get the whole family in shape!
4.) The method I chose seemed to be the best method for me. The last way that I found a way to stay fit on a budget I researched some churches in my local area. The largest churches in my city had facilities full equipped with everything I could use for losing weight.. The first one I came across was 10 dollars a month... The other church (the one I chose) had a bigger facility and was a lot cheaper at 60 dollars for the whole year!!!! Thats 5 bucks a month!!! They even have a cafe and Zumba classes if you pay a little extra...
I hope that these tips are helpful and good luck to ALL of you on your journey!

if you have netflix you can order exercise videos from them, they also have about a dozen available for instant viewing.
Sit-ups, push ups, walking, jogging are all free. and if you need weights a can of canned vegetables is about a lb.
Use your laundry detergent bottles after you've used the detergent, refill with water, weight them and you have some homemade weights for about free....cuz you'd buy laundry soap anyways and they have handles.
Check your local library for work out videos
and I had a topic about Youtube exercise clips where people posted many links!0 -
Checkout Youtube.
My favorite is Bodyrock.tv but there are lots other channels with cool at home work out ideas.
Also, isometric & body weight exercise is a great way to start training. Things like push-ups & abdominal crunches are easy and will build strength and endurance quickly.
As for cardio, you mentioned walking, a great start to cardio. If you have a bike, this is another great cardio workout. And, if you live in a municipality that has public swimming access. This is another great low cost cardio workout.0
