i exercise about 4 or 5 days a week...eat a healthy amount of calories per day.

but i was wondering..are there any natural supplements...not pills or "magic formulas"....something natural and healthy that will help my body burn more fat?

  • Caffeine has been shown to help boost metabolism. Try green tea. It has many other properties that are beneficial to the body, and comes in a lot of flavors. Really, there's only products linked to speeding up the metabolism, but nothing works as well as good cardio and strength training.

Yes. Excersize. It works every time.
  • Since ephedrine was taken out of supps, nope. Mostly a gimmick

Some supps can help you with appetite which helps with calorie deficit. I find it helpful anyway :]

Caffeine is always a little help. Drinking coffee, tea, or buying caffeine pills

i love green tea..tea in general...drink it all the time:)
  • I did read an article about theraputic doses of herbs/suppliments that do supposedly increase the amount of calories you burn (it stated that the right amounts of herbal ingredients can burn upto 150 extra calories per day)... one being caffine/green tea based suppliments. Do some internet reseach and go from there..... its up to you what you want to believe I think.

I take Chromium. I use it for carb/sweet/chocolate cravings but it is a vitamin/dietary supplement that says on the bottle metabolism support

There are supplements that are noted for helping boost your metabolism. I strongly suggest you research them first as all bodies are unique and not all supplements are in a persons best interest to ingest. In addition some are costly. The ones I am familiar with include Selenium (helps antioxidant activity), Biotin (Helps nails and skin plus promotes carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism), CoQ10 (Antioxidant and promotes a healthy heart), Chromium Picolinte (Metabolic boost) and Acetyl-L-Carnitine / Alpha-Lipoic Acid (Antioxidant / Metabolism boost). Hope this answers your question.

There really is nothing that makes a noticeable difference. Just calorie deficit via food and exercise, everything is hardly worth bothering with tbh.

Ephendrine is still available, it just can't be sold as a dietary supplement.

Coffee (stimulant and antioxidants); lean protein (more difficult to digest and provides the essential amino acids needed to build muscles; more muscle leads to higher calorie burn); green tea (antioxidants); dairy (calcium!!); grapefruit; spinach and other leafy greens; peppers (capsaicin - the reason its hot- has been shown to increase metabolism by about 8% for several hours after consumption)

It sounds like you are doing everything right - eating well and exercising, keep that up and you won't need extras.
My personal favourite "fat burner" is exercise - as soon as I start moving, everything else picks up - including my mood!

CHILLY! The bit that burns your mouth is the stuff they use in diet pills.
